Re: Ascii-artist's dream...
Why don't you try Turbo C... Turbo C++ Now that those are WAY too old to be used, I guess the Licensing on them has been removed by Borland. But all the same, all programs that were built on TurboC, FoxPro, dBase were ASCII based, but YES!! No Graphics in ASCII as now. Just some representations. coz the screen is very small 80x24 chars ?:) "Christian Garbs [Master Mitch]" <mit...@mitch.h.shuttle.de> wrote in message news:a0ijlj$jd$1...@yggdrasil.mitch.h.shuttle.de... > bug <bug...@akw.pl> wrote: > > > ,--------------------------------------------------------. > > | __ | > > | [__] | > > | '--' | > > | My ASCIIputer | > > | __ | > > | |--| | > > | '--' | > > | My ASCIIments | > > | .-.--------------------.-.-.-, | > > | |?| ASCII-art OS XP !! |v|^|X| | > > | :-'--------------------'-'-'-; | > > | | Welcome to ASCII-art OS XP | | > > | | What do you like to do: | | > > | | | | > > | | ,------------. ,----. | | > > | | |Virtual Tour| |Exit| | | > > | | '------------' '----' | | > > | '----------------------------' | > > | , | > > | /| __ | > > | `' |--| | > > | :__: | > > | | > > | ASCII RBin | > > :-------.-.-=<active>=-.---------------------------------: > > | Start | |ASCII-art OS| (<)12:07| > > '-------'-'-==========-'---------------------------------' > > > I don't know how 'bout you but it's one of my small dreams > > Multitasking and stable system with ascii-based graphic OS > > No problem using Linux: I've already tried this using the GGI > libraries.
