Here we go again - defining words by other undefined words. But the question still is: Does it suffice to *claim* to do these things? Or is there a definite way to judge upon this? What *is* art? And what makes a person an artist? Can a computer judge upon this? Followup-To: alt.philosophy.blah.blah.blah My point: Anyone who calls himself an artist (whether by typing ASCII pics or some other kind of art) might as well say "I am cool". Which is very uncool. Stop griping, though - just post some ASCII pics here and be done with. Sven -- Grain of salt!
