You're predictably missing the point, you excuse-making 
yobbo.  The "pitch" may be smaller, but they're on ICE, 
for chrissake.  And they have sticks in their hands. 
And the players and the puck move many times faster. 
And the players can legally be knocked about much more 
than in football.  And the goal in football is about 4 
times the width of a hockey goal, and twice the height.

Change the pitch size and the rules of football if 
necessary.  The point, which you predictably missed, is 
that most of a football match is just a lot of 
pointless back-and-forth that results in nil-nil.

You pussy poofter.  NO ONE defends the way they do in 
hockey.

Yes, I do know.  There are faked injuries, boring 
midfield turnovers (100s), and drunken fans literally 
killing each other.

There's more to hockey than goals, too, and you get all 
of it:  passing, defense, blazing speed, and the 
violence tends to stay on the playing surface, not in 
the stands.  And when the game is over, we just get in 
our cars and go home.  You lot start riots.
