What have we done? This topic calls for an RFD alt.ascii-art.heritage.
The Usenet's hang-out for senior ascii-citizens (dribbling widows and
spinner nerds mumbling "QWERTY, QWERTY...").

O Master sampler, you probably deja vu :) Went through the Google
archives and noticed you had a similar argument with someone called
Amykate back in 1999 <37a...@news.mdc.net>. Upper was (according to
Google) posted here on 3 Apr 1994 by someone called Ermine
<2nms2e$66...@xmission.xmission.com>. Below is the "Mustela Furo" in
Allen Mullen's Ed Wisniewski collection

Micsellaneous sources/further reading: Colin Douthwaite ascribes the

94 09:03:07 +1200. Dave Bird St. Hyppo the Hubbard slayer thinks
1996/06/18 the one with the tildes is made by someone called Brian

Sorry Andreas. Can't figure out what pic you refer to with all this
"this" and "it". To my, recently acquired, knowledge the ferret you
posted is probably Targon's. Why argue with Mullen (his site is steady
state since '95)?
But whodunnit(the_ferret_pic)first? Ed Wisniewski aka Targon is da man
probably. Nevertheless... i wouldn't count Ermine out (wasn't she one
of Mike Jittlov's devotees?). Brian Thomas is an outsider, but in
ascii one day flies are rule.
