|those lines seem to have a SPACE missing. In fact, it is there, if I copy
|and paste into Notepad, or if I use more SPACEs in front of the pic, and
|also when I write messages, everything works just perfect. But if I read
|messages from this or other newsgroups, and if there is only ONE SPACE and
|after it a letter or something, OE doesn't show that first space. As you can
|see above, that sometimes makes pictures ... difficult to look at.

Ahh yes, the classic Outlook Express 'I know better than you - lines never
start with a single space' bug. Sorry I didn`t catch on the first time :o)

Well, AFAIK none of us have found a solution to this 'feature' of Outlook
Express. The only solution is the one you`ve already found.

All I can suggest is that you download and install Forte Free Agent from
www.forteinc.com - It`s slightly harder to configure but it is a dedicated
newsreader and so has many options that I always said 'I wish Microsoft News
could do...' including the kind of box thing I use for message quotes...
That`s inserted for me automatically whereas before I typed it in myself!
