I'm not sure i like what you did to the "clubs" at top .. sure the form is more accurate but now the
size is'nt.

maybe this :

About the banner , it's like OOL says .. It has to be readable .. and your second banner ain't that
readable .. the first one however is really good and smalish .. ever thought of a figlet font like
this ?

I have some minor suggestions though ..

No I think the right way to go is angels banner (Although angels shield is not as good as theese
other suggestions )

That is to go with plain text and do a ascii-rendition of the banner .. allthough this banner needs
improvement
