 Not sure?  NOT SURE?!?  Hey, what kind of news admin is this? Or isn't
he the news-admin? Is there a news-admin? Maybe you should speak to the
right person...  If someone is offering a service he HAS TO KNOW what
the problem is or where to look for if one occures. "Not sure" isn't
very professionl, ya know?

 Maybe they should get then a descent news-server? If the one that they
are using doesn't allow to set it up useful then they should switch to
another one. There are tons of free news servers (e.g. inn - but I doubt
that they would be able to work under Linux and I don't know if inn is
available for Windows...). Tell them to get a descent newsserver if
their doesn't allow to set it up in a proper way.
 On the other hand "because I do not have that option" _very often_
means the following: "because I have not found that option yet" :-(
Very often they try to say "No, that's not possible" but are only not
able to find out _how_ it's possible. _Don't_ _EVER_ let tell you that
something isn't possible - they are most of the time just too lazy to
get their asses off the seat!

 So, like already sugguested - ask what "any phrases" might mean and
that he should speak more clear to you and not to hide behind obscure
phrases himself.

 ... maybe you should use a little less emotional language than me, that
always comes quite well ;)
