yes, it would be better if i had provided an URL.
But i downloaded the Jargon file from www.jargon.org and did not know
that you can link to the entries directly. 

And I thought that this law should be known by most of the people here
as it is mentioned in the Jargon file.

[1] an advertisement email I (and probably lots of others) got wanted
to advertise a "live sex web cam" in German; Babelfish made
"Phasengeschlechtswebnocken" from it... 

(Phase = electricity (whether it is in the wall outlet or not) - or
the "state" of the moon (full, half, ...), Geschlecht = gender,
Web=web, Nocken is that shown above)
