40-tri-cell chessboard

    Here's another 40-cell chessboard made up of triangles.

    This dates from March 1999, altho it's basically just a cutdown
version of a much larger chessboard of triangles I developed more
than 35 years ago.

    For any chessplayers tuning in, I'll note that one of the unique
aspects of triangle boards is the piece I call the "half-rook."
When the board is colored so as to consist of alternately-colored
triangles, half-rooks (like bishops in regular chess) move only on
the cells of their own color.
