 Well, I don't think _I_ am the mother of all newsclients *blushes*  But
I think that is just a misinterpretation of what you really meant....
 But I think slrn[1] is of cause worth a try. It has all the features
that I need, and if it lacks something I can simply add it with a little
script ;-)  It's fully configureable and that's what I like...

 You see all the "I"'s in that sentance? Well, that's because I don't
know what you'd like: Maybe you (in general) are more into the

 mutt[2]: From the manual: "All mail clients suck. This one sucks less"
;-))  It's quite similar to slrn - textbased, colors, fully
configureable, POP3/IMAP support, PGP-support....  I think there is a
win32-port of this, too. I have to look for it though.

 Eudora is quite nice, as far as I can see. Well, it's simple, at least.
And also "simple" in it's features.

 I can't see an ease of use in outlook, either. I am forced to use
Outlook (the mailpart) here at work. But I am still trying to give mutt
a try (once I've found the binary-package ;).

 Also I don't like the thinking of "all in one"... I prefer "one in all"
- that is vim[3] for text-editing *smirks*  That works quite good for
me.

 Well, the card is a little bigger than the present - but I hope you'll
like it anyway :-)  Also, don't open it before tomorrow (you know why
;-)  But I don't really know when I should send it for I don't know the
difference between your time and ours here...  Maybe if I send it in the
