Here's what it says, with the high-ascii characters replaced with the
nearest low-ascii equivalents:
--- , , ,-, --- ,-, , , , , , ,
| |-| |-| | `-, ||| |-| `-'
' ' ' ' ' ' `-' `-' ' ' '
--- , , ,-,
| |-| |-
' ' ' `-'
, ,-, ,-, , , ,-,
| |-| | | `-' `-,
`- ' ' '-' ' `-'
, , --- --- , , ,-,
||| | | |-| |-|
`-' --- ' ' ' ' '
--- ,-, ,-, ,-, ,-,
| |-' |-| ||| |-'
' '` ' ' ' ' '
I used to do such translations frequently in alt.bbs.ads, where such
characters are rampant. It's a little difficult to do the replacement
with vi online since vi treats high-ascii characters as unprintable
characters and so doesn't scoot the cursor forward when you move it on
top of them. 6 of the characters in fact were high-control-characters
which gave me a little trouble (the W's and the M had 2 in each). Also
the replacements weren't literal replacements character for character.
Some minor clarification was done for aesthetic reasons.
It lacks a little punctuation, doesn't it?
