The applet needs JAVA 1.1. The source code is included but I haven't
checked it in detail. The problem is that Netscape 4.0 didn't support
it complete. Therefore a update to a 4.5 (or higher) version is
recommended.

I prefer uninstalling the old version (complete) and reinstalling the
new one. The advantage of Netscape is that you only need a backup of
the 'user directory' and not several different (IE*).

* Some people say that you need to backup Windows too ... ;)
