Once you put the letters into the picture, they're converted into vectors and beziers.. No longer ASCII. What you're reading now is ASCII, as all the characters are represented by a predefined byte. In your Cad program, you can't necessarily take a look at the hex dump of the file and expect to find anything meaningful or human-readable. Don't feel offended.. You've discovered something new while we're sticking to something old we've become to like.
