How dare you flame me for such an innocent attempt.  rubbish / not sparkling
. dum . gif.  You should be ashamed of yourself for making such a childish
response to an honest contribution to the newsgroup.  It should be clearly
visible to anyone who has the Arial font as their plain text...  Your not
seeing it in the same font does not make it rubbish.  Your response was to a
newcomer to the group, and with this blatant mockery and outright cruel
attitude, I can't see how anyone would want to ever post or even visit this
newsgroup again.

I READ the FAQ, and the characters that I used were basic characters for
ascii.  All I used were |, \, /, _, +, and *.  None of them were extended
characters.  Besides, your criticism of my work (which was merely a test of
the waters and my system in the first place with a basic shape; I never
claimed it was a masterpiece) was not constructive, nor could it even be
called criticism in the first place.  It was just a petty attack on a
"newbie" by a crass, snobbish, short-sighted example of the worst of this
newsgroup and Usenet as a whole.  Not only do you not know how to treat a
fellow artist, you don't know how to treat a fellow human being.

Go to hell.
