the card that was used to incres the speed of the graphics chip was called
the toaster, the program that used it was Light wave. the software still
exists for the PC and mac.

the amega also had a full 16 bit OS (like windows) built onto a rom chip. all
the games did was call up the componants they needed and run. if you took you
time the thing vertualy never crashed but it needed alot of development and
comidor went into the PC market which made the company go bust. since then no
one has managed to bring them back and i doubt if they ever will make it back
again. there technology is way out of date. the only thing that was better is
there windows on a chip idea.... just think windows that would boot in under
1 secons and never crash....
