TALK: ASCii Animation

TALK: ASCii Animation

While ASCii Animation is often iffy, it's still a very useful and
easy-to-transmit format. I'm currently working on a program for
compiling ASCii animation and I'm running into a small problem.
I want to avoid using anything other than the cursor repositioning
codes since those are reliable and identical in either VT-10x or
ANSI. But I find that many mail programs and news programs don't like
it when there are no linebreaks in the file so you have no choice
but to uuencode the file which increases it's size drastically.
Exactly where can I put in linebreaks? I could put them in every 80th
character but that creates a problem when the cursor is at the bottom
of the screen since the screen will suddenly scroll up a line.
 Any suggestions on this?
