Personally I thought it was funny on the same level as circa 1960's America when people were heard to say things like "If English was good enough for Jesus then it is good enough for us." Because people don't have any knowledge of history. Tran's comment plays on that ignorance. Kind of like if he had written "Why didn't Moses take 3 of each kind on the Arc?"
