Yes, but it will cut off if you have it auto-inserted by your newsreader.
In most cases, at least. To get one through without it being auto-truncated,
you'll have to insert it manually. You'll probably also want to make sure
the file isn't named .signature, otherwise you'll get the full copy as in-
serted, as well as a 4-line-truncated copy that would autoatically be added
(and chopped) at the end. So, if you have a long sig called ".longsig" you
would just insert that file at the end of your post. In vi, that would be
:r .longsig
from the escape/command mode. For other editors, I have no clue, but it
shouldn't be too hard to figure out. I'm guessing you could find a way to
automatically work around this, but I'm not sure... I don't write scripts,
I just know how to use them... :>

I'd be interested in knowing what other kinds of .sig inserters people use,
like using a certain .sig for a certain newsgroup, etc. (is that just done
manually, too?)... Or if they have a newsreader that's intelligent enough to
support different .sig's for this purpose, or not so anal as to chop after 4
lines (is there a flag to override this "option", or is it not an option?)
