In my collection it's labeled like this :
'From: ren...@wpi.WPI.EDU (Michael John Wagoner)'

Since I didn't remember exactely why I put that next to it
I digged it out again. I think the origin of this dragon
as we know it today is Scarecroes FTP site, where it is 
stored with the above heading - followed by more dragons
also sent by Mr. Wagoner. When I copied the dragon I did
not really believed M. J. Wagoner to be the artist but
you never know. That's why I keep the 'from:' line.

From my point of view this is a good compromise and if
someone _really_ wants to know the artist then he/she can
ask Mr. Wagoner.
