ascii clocks

i am in the process of designing a skinable ascii clock for the console
writen in bash

the clock its self as well as the time ( in 23:34 and 11:34 pm format )
will be skinable

now the clocks size is erelavent as long as it fits on the screen and is
large enough to fit the time inside of it

so the first question is whats the standerd hight of a fixed font in
ascii (some where between 7 and 8 lines me thinks)

second with that in mind can some people here make some ascii clocks
for me to experament with with that font size in mind?
and maybe a link or two to some ascii fixed font's

the app will basicly be skinable like winamp and fun like 
linux's dali clock and xclock for the console 

i should be able to add some fun featurs like an alarm clock ablity
and a shuffel featur on the skins and time set to eather hour, ten minut, 
or one minut intervuls

the clock will not have a seconds featur because of the refresh rate on 
most consoles sucks so keep that in mind
