But if you're making text art for a DOS game you migth want to use MORE than just plain ascii - DOS have so many good drawing character you can use. You can see many of theese with charmap (viewing the font called terminal .. ie DOS) but it will not show you characters before alt+032 .. and thoose characters are really good for DOS drawing. And its display is too small and the interface is not too good either. I use a freeware program called Character Map Pro .. It's imho the best fontviewer there is. I can mail it to you if you'd like, or post it on a ftp. I also know there's an old TSR DOS program called RAT - Resident Ascii Table that does the trick too .. I used to have it but deleted it because i seldom do dos drawings .. and because i could'nt run it under windows.
