Hi everybody, This is my second art posting here. The first one I just posted a link because AOL was squashing it wierd. I was advised (thanks AsH) to not worry about how it looks on my screen, others would be able to view in the font they chose. This seems to be correct, because if I cut the pic from a post and paste it into a more user-friendly app (that allows font-selection) the pic comes out looking how it should. The bright star is supposed to be Venus (of course I took some liberties as to its nearness to Luna and her phase). To get a sense of the motion of the animation cut the following frames and paste them into notepad. Then size the window so that one frame shows and cycle the page-up/page-down buttons. I realize that the motion doesn't follow the equatorial line correctly and the position of some of the stars is still off. I was just aiming for a semi-rendition that suggested the main areas of the moon (tycho, serenitatis,imbrium etc.). It looks better when squinted at. Also, I think I need to enlarge it because the moon is rather ovalish at this size. Let me know if the above comes out askew on your screen. Then I will know if I can quit including links to my art. Eventually when all the frames are complete I'll assemble it into a short vid and post it to a page. I'm finding out that even a short animation requires quite a lot of frames to run smoothly without jerkiness, so it'll be awhile before it's finished. ][ncogni']['o

I particulary like the one called "FleetView", a very interesting/unique composition with the moon in BG and all. You succeeded in capturing the essence of a cat with the way you have it leaning upon the girl (the cat is the reason I favor this sketch). Also, you utilized excellent texturing technique on the one called "Moonlight Castle". Nice circular strokes around the moon and great crosshatching on the castle. My best friend in childhood had one (I had an Atari 400 as my 1st comp). Just recently a friend gave me a box of hardware (he knows I strip things for parts) along with a complete C64. I'd set it up if I had room (just to dink around with it), but right now I'm at max capacity with the 7 boxes I'm already running. ][ncogni']['o
