HEY! Any PgDn Animations?

I was scanning through some ascii art I recently d-l'ed and, as I was page-downing through them, ---It Struck Me---... Is there any page-down driven ascii animations, anywhere? Am I the first to think of this? (I doubt it; there is nothing new on the 'Net...) I am not a proficient artist, and especially not proficient with ascii art, but I may just give it a try... Please post any attempts at ascii PgDn-driven animation here; I'd like to see some! If this is an original idea... well.... I thought this was a neat way of getting cheap flick-book animation without having to draw squillions of frames per second, and it let the viewer run the animation at the speed they liked within their news reader. There is a drawback. Apparently not all newsreaders stop at a page-break. Only some of us would be able to see it. Q - What newsreaders do not stop at pagebreaks? You mean folks actually read this stuff _on-line_ ? EEK !
I thought everyone used their newsreaders to tag and save messages,
download them and read off-line. That way you can diddle your page
up/page down animations to fit your screen.
I've seen those page breaks in postings but never knew why they were
there.
I use the TIN newsreader but hardly ever read stuff on-line. I only
have 90 minutes a day access time so I select, tag and save stuff as
fast as I can. My Public Access Site then bundles and archives my
selections for me to download - then it is over to me.
Ah well, here is an Xmas scene flicker animation which makes the
fire flicker by rapid page up/page down movements - also watch the
face at the window.
Also added is the Tree Variant sequence diddle that I did recently.
On an 80 column x 24 row monochrome monitor Page-down should show
the changes in the tree whilst the tree remains static on the
screen.
Sometimes removal or addition of a blank row between pictures is
enough to achieve exact registration on each page up/page down.

It's not that ridiculous an idea. Simple five or ten line animations
(done in 79 columns) with ^L's every page wouldn't be so bad.
If you liked you could even keep it down to 40-column.
cuz 132 is silly.
