star wars

Hi All,

once upon a time, there was a machine called blekko.com, if I remember well,
where one could telnet into, and could enjoy Star Wars in 80x25. But that
site has disappeared. Anybody knows if that software is available somewhere?

If you run Linux you can play Quake or watch movies locally in ASCII. 

I don't know exactly how it's done, but I know I've heard of a lot of people
doing it. It's possible this is the technology 'blekko.com' was using.

This is done by using the aalib (ascii-art-library). It is just a
rendering library, that is supported by some movieplayers etc. This
library is also available for windows.
