Why does the art look weird??? if you cut and paste to notepad looks
fine but here looks off???

I believe you have to use the classic version of deja news to view ascii correctly in deja..
There's a trick to that .. maybe someone more knowledged in the way of Dejaing (.. Yes i'm
making words up as I go) can help you ?

Login and accept the cookie. Afterwards go back to
"lps.html" and use the menu ([Options] | [Post] | ...)
to do whatever you like through the "classic" interface.

Probably the best way to post through DejaNews is using
the above interface with Lynx and ^v-e in the text field,
which starts your favourite editor (emacs in my case).

This all probably seems quite cryptic to most, but
it is the fastest and most flexible way I've found
to use Deja News. YMMV.
