PREPRODUCTION ARTIST NEEDED

My name in Michael-Joel LaCombe; I�m a graduate cinema production student 
at USC, and I am looking for pre-production artists for a new version of 
H.G. Well�s WAR OF THE WORLDS that I plan on directing.  The script has 
been completed; the next step is to create the �look� of the film...  I 
need an artist who can translate script scenes into production sketches 
and help fashion the vision of a more authentic WAR OF THE WORLDS.  All 
materials created will retain the property of the artist, for his or her 
use. 

My plan is to create an interactive cd-rom DEMO for prospective producers 
and studios, on which will be included scripts, storyboards, some video, 
and score, along with information on contributors in the hopes that their 
efforts will lead to future contacts and income, with my own production 
company and with other production companies as well.  

A fantasy / science-fiction background would be helpful though not 
necessary.  Knowledge of WAR OF THE WORLDS is also not necessary.   
Prospective artists do not have to have been employed or have ever been 
employed as an artist.  If you want to get "into film" as a production / 
storyboard artist, this is a good opportunity to give you
something for your portfolio, while learning about the pre-production 
process.
