Weird.
All the ascii I saw from like, message 85 - I've never seen shit like that 
before.  I guess it would be classified as oldschool because it uses 
slashes and underscores instead of the usual $$$'s.
check #ascii on efnet for info on the international ascii scene.

Oldschool? More like linear.. check out alt.ascii-art instead...

There are different types of ASCII art..
The kind you're talking about w/all the $$
are usually created w/conversion programs.
They are also classified as 'solid-style'

The pics made with underscores and
slashes are usually created by hand --
without conversion software and to many,
are considered to be 'art'.
This style is called "line-style" or
"outline-style"

I'm there now, and besides being completely
ignored, I haven't seen any ASCII art
run within the past 1/2 hour.  Pretty sad.

I suggest you hang out with alt.ascii-art
for a while.. perhaps visit Veronica's web-
based chat and check out OUR international
ASCII art scene...
