For those interested, the LA TIMES June 9, 1994 edition in the LIFE and
STYLE section has an article all about ascii-art.  Haven't read it yet but
looks interesting

   Without violating anybody's copyright, maybe somebody could give us a 
report on the article.  Maybe include an excerpt, and tell us if they 
showed any pics, etc.
