I have an interest in ascii art that's small enough to fit in a 4-line
signature (4 being the .signature size limit than some sites enforce).

In particular I'm interested in geographic representations, such as
the outline of Australia that *everyone* from down under seems to use.
I've also seen 4-line renditions of New York and Texas (see below).
Anybody have any others?

Jim

Well, Colorado and Wyoming are easy:
	____
       | |
       |____|

But how do you tell them apart? Furthermore, within the resolution of
ASCII, they look alot like North Dakota. How about a small Tennessee:

       _-------,
      /______/

Kansas? Try this, complete with Topeka and Wichita pointed out:
      ________
     | .\
     | . |
     |________|

Utah is pretty easy in 5 lines, with a splat for Salt Lake City:
         __
        | |_
        | * |
        | |
        |____|

And Nevada isn't too hard, with Reno singled out and a dot near Lost Wages,
except that it's five lines high (a technicality):
         ___
        | |
        |* |
         \ .|
          \|

Oklahoma? Well, in five lines and too square, but Oklohoma City and Tulsa
fit in:
      ____________
      ---- . |
          | * |
           -_-_ _ |
               - -_

Having done that, it's time to make a try at Iowa, with Iowa City singled
out for fame. Again, I didn't get it into 4 lines, sorry.
      _________
      ) (
      \ . )
       ) (
       `------\/

Enough sillyness!

I'm looking for some small 4-6 line and large (however sized)
ASCII dogs. Could people please e-mail a few? My access to this group is erratic.

Thanks!

How about state maps of any size. Here's a large one of a small state - NH:

                            = =
