well, using irc... and Mirc, is there anyway of trying coloured ascii
art images
without being online??? I think it does not /play the ascii file if
being offline!!!

how do I write my own ascii art coloured pictures in a editor like
notepad???
I mean... what is the key stroke that gives me the character that
Mirc uses to
make backgound and foreground colour????

like:

    __
   (11oo1)
   )7\/1(
  (8> <1)
  / 8/\ 1\
 (_8(__)_1)
7 ``

this is a penguin of my own creation... but I copied the character to
the clipboard...
I really dont know what it is...!!!!!!

try Popedit or Ikoei color editors to make and view color pics for mIRC.

Popedit works well, there is also a way to play the pic to the status window while not online,
although I dont think this works on all versions of mirc (the command would be
/play -s c:\mirc\"filename".txt (speed)). To color while using notepad you must first make the code
block in mirc, then you can copy from mirc (ctrl +c) and paste into notepad (ctrl +v). For more
information you may visit us online at server irc.bluedwarf.net (209.220.139.116 port 6667) in
