Actually, it got destroyed, but only in a different space-time continuum, since Picard and Kirk came back to prevent Soran from making the sun in that system go nova? prematurely. In 2 years (after the next election), Speaker Newt will annouce another full sweep of the Liberal Congressmen. The American people HAVE woken up and ARE willing to take responsibility for themselves.
