I moved the chair closer to the table (so it won't wrap again) and added a border to the screen: _________________ / /| / / | /________________/ /| ###| ____ |//| # | / /| |/.| # __|___ / /.| | |_______________ # / / //|| | / /| ___ # / /___// || | / / | / \ \ # /______/! || ||_____|/ / | / \ \ #| . . . ! || || / _________________/ \ \ #| . . ! || // ________ / /\________________ { / } /| . ! ||//~~~~~~/ 0000/ / / / ______________ { / / / | ! |'/ /9 0000/ / / / / / { / / / #\________!___|/ /9 0000/ / / / /_____________/___ / / / # /_____\/ /9 0000/ / / / /_ /\_____________\/ / / # ``^^^^^^ / \ \ . ./ / ____________ / +=#==================================/ \ \ ./ / /. . . \ / / |# | \ \/ / /___________/ / # |_______\__/________________/ | | | | / / | | | | / / | | ________| |/ /________ | | /_______/ \_________/\ | | / / / \ ) | | /OO^^^^^^/ / /^^^^^^^^^OO\) | | / / / | | / / / | | /___\/ |hectoras | oo |____________________________________| It looks great to me - the chair isn't bad either :) It is really outstanding for a first pic! > And YES a Linux user does NOT need a mouse, So you are using no graphical browser (aka as Netscape ;)? Netscape is unuseable without a mouse, and Opera is far from being useable at the moment. Furthermore you don't seem to be doing any graphics - for gimp is also quite useless without the help of a mouse. Yes, I also don't use my mouse quite often (thanks to the easy configuration of WindowMaker or Sawmill), but in some circumstances you really need a mouse (e.g. within quake ;). In browser-context I ask. I know that lynx can read newsgroups - but that isn't the point. Well, try the same we achieved over her: We now have a dual-boot of
Win95 and Linux and the user can choose which one to take *smirks* I'm
not joking - this _is_ possible (take a look at [1], or at [2] which
will be the new version of our websites. Unfortunately they are mainly
just in german, so it will be hard to understand for you). You just need
some people that assist can assist you. But I think that will be the
least problem....
It is fully a student-project, and I'm quite proud to be part of that.
But, this isn't really ontopic anymore, so [F'up2: poster].

Well, I have it in my linux-port. Maybe you haven't enabled it on compile time? Maybe broken terminfo/termcap? I've noticed that it can't be changed in the ~/.lynxrc file but must be set in the systemwide rc-file.... HTH! -- Gerfried Fuchs <URL:mailto:alf...@innocent.com> <URL:http://alfie.ist.org/alfie/>

But to do real drawing you need a mouse, face the fact. You can't write a script for every single stroke you make, and try it each time.... > and i have all the keyboard shortcuts down so if i 'need' to use > kde i can but i never do after all there is even a app to turn pdf > files into html so a mouse is realy unnessasary for anything other > than cut and past So, again, for _you_ a mouse is unnessasary for you don't do much with your linux box. Fine for you - but don't be so short minded that everyone can go _completely_ without. Let me quote again my sentence: > $user needs a mouse depends on the thing s/he does.
