my first attempt

PLease let me know what you think, this is my first attempt at some ascii art 
of my nick name...I can't seem to get lowercase "Curved" letters down...I 
know this may look like it's copied..(or maybee not) but it's not and I'd 
like to hear your opinions on it

(ps. my signature file has something I took off a webpage that I was refered 
to that puts your name in ascii if I'm supposed to give credit to someone for

  I used to design letters for a living (it wasn't much of a living).
  Utterly primary rule:  caps, ascenders, descenders, bodies, must all be of
uniform height within themselves.  Thus:
            __        __ 
\        / |  | |    |     /\  |\  |
 \  /\  /  |  | |    |_   /__\ | \ |
  \/  \/   |__| |___ |   /    \|  \|

  Unless you draw with the IBM box characters (not possible in most e-mail
editors), horizontals will never fall quite where they should, but the _
underline is better than the - hyphen; note that it requires a fourth row
above the three of the "body."  You generate a like formula for the lower
case.
  Experiment.  WYSIWYG.
