Has it ever occured to you that perhaps he got the artwork without a sig in the first place!!! I've been lurking in this newsgroup for about a week and really enjoying all the wonderful stuff posted but every time I see a message from you berating people for removing sigs it pisses me off. I don't think removing sigs is a good thing either but just because someone posts a file without a sig dosen't mean they removed the sig! Isn't there something in the FAQ about stealing other artists works? If not I think that'd be a good place to add something so that everyone knows. > >I've been lurking in this newsgroup for about a week > > Mmm.... a little early... :) Yeah, I know. I usually try to lurk for at least two or three weeks. This is a really nice newsgroup and everyone seems friendly enough in general :) > BTW, that Sandy Reef on your page looks really nice. :) > a a r d v a r k o @ g e o c i t i e s dot com ._______. Thanks. I use MetaTools Bryce and Adobe Photoshop for my graphics. I'm glad you enjoyed them. I haven't yet done any ASCII artwork but am getting inspiration from this newsgroup :). -- Doug Wilson http://www.cybcon.com/~dwilson

I've never really liked the term High ASCII. The semantic difference is
subtle, but to me it implies that these characters would be ASCII, which
they of course are not. I prefer to say Extended ASCII.
Or did you perhaps mean this kind of "high" ascii? =)
