Kick me for being 'slow', but I just discovered that most ascii pictures
look MUCH better using a black background.  I normally use black letters on
white bg, but that produces an inverse-video effect for many things.
(specially the gif>ascii stuff)

Using the computer with black letters on a white background is also
extremely bad for your eyes :(

All of MY stuff is intended to be seen as black text on a white screen. ;-)
