Before you proceed any further, gather your materials.  You will need five
envelopes, five postage stamps, ten one dollar bills, five pieces of paper,
and the start-up "list generator" (the names and addresses included here).

STEP 1:

Initializing the Mailing List Generator:

Take the five  pieces of paper and print or type the following message on
each one:

"PLEASE ADD ME TO YOUR MAILING LIST, YOU ARE NUMBER 4." And include your
name and address. Next place each note, along with $2 in an envelope and
seal it.  Be sure you have included this message exactly as written above.
This is how you initialize your own list, by including your name on someone
else's list.

MAIL YOUR ENVELOPES NOW!  Congratulations, you've just
completed Stage 1:  Initializing your business center.  Total investment
on your part= 10 dollars, 5 stamps, five envelopes, and some paper.

STEP 2: 

PREPARE YOUR MARKETING AD COPY

You will now prepare your marketing materials as follows:
1.  Load this document into your text editor.
2.  Take the #1 name off the list that you see above, and move everyone up
one space.  (So that #2 becomes the new #1, and #3 becomes #2 etc...)
3.  ADD YOUR NAME as the new #5.
4.  You are given permission to duplicate this monograph exactly as you see
it here and to alter, or edit it any way you see fit to prepare your own
marketing materials.
5.  You should now have a copy of this entire monograph, along with your
new mailing list generator listing which you will distribute on the internet.
6.  Rest assured that this system works best if you follow the above

STEP 3:

Posting Your AD on the INTERNET.

You will want to post your amended monograph (WITH YOUR NAME AT 
THE BOTTOM OF THE ADDRESS LIST) to a minimum of 200 Newsgroups
on the net.  There are around 18,000 newsgroups, so there's plenty to
choose from.

Here's how you do this:

NETSCAPE 3.0 USERS:

1.  Click on any news group in your news group list.  Then click on "TO
NEWS" which is on the far left when your on the newsgroup page.  This will
bring up a box to type a message in.  Leave the newsgroup box like it is.  
2.  Change the subject box to something that will Grab the readers
attention, like  $$ EXTRA $$ AT HOME, or NEED CA$H, or something of the sort.
3.  Now what you want to do is insert this whole article word for word into
the message area.  You may have to re-type it, or if you saved it in your
text editor, simply insert it as a text file.  (Remember your Name and
Address is now included at the bottom of the mailing list).
4.  When this is done, or after you've retyped the monograph, click on FILE
in THIS BOX, RIGHT ABOVE SEND, NOT where it says Netscape News on the first
box.  Click on SAVE AS when your under FILE.  Save your article as a text 
file to your C: or A: drive.  DO NOT SEND OR POST YOUR ARTICLE until you
have saved it!
5.  Now send or post to this newsgroup by clicking SEND, which is right
below FILE, and right above Cc:
6.  REPEAT THE ABOVE TO POST IN DIFFERENT NEWSGROUPS except now you can
simply insert the saved text file or use the ATTACH FILE command.

Congratulations.  You've now completed STEP 3:  Posting Your AD on the
Internet.

Remember you want to post your ad in at least 200 different newsgroups. 
The more exposure you have, the more mailing list inclusion requests you
will receive, and the more $$ you will make.

You are now in the mail order business.  REMEMBER:  HONESTY IS WHAT MAKES
THIS BUSINESS WORK.  Do not try to alter the basic idea thinking you'll
make more money.  When you
send in your $10 to join other peoples lists, you are marketing your own
business and generating the beginings of your own inflow of requests. 
Follow the rules.  They're tried and true, they're legal, and they work. 
No need to try to reinvent the wheel.  Also be sure to keep a record of
everyone who sends you a request.  This is your mailing list, and the more
it grows, the more it will be worth to you, and to others, such as Direct
Marketing Firms who may wish to purchase your list at a later date.
