This is crossposted to alt.ascii-art as well.

Each of these was done in the smallest form that ascii and comfort
would allow. I only studied japanese for about 3 months but found
that I could spell better in it than I could in english. =)

the chi he did not mention (blood)

      KJ
      J
  HHHHHHHHHH
  H H H H
  H H H H
  H H H H
HHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Why did I put that in? Because Japanese is a very difficult language
to speek. Anyone with sufficiant ability to abstract symbols can pick
up the written (kanji , haragana, and katakan) pritty easily. But
speeking and hereing it is not easy at all. Lots of words sound
exatly the same but have very differant meanings

The chi (ki) he did mention
Why is it infamous. Find the smallest japanies dictionary you can.
No smaller than that. Each word in it will probably have a one word
explanation like above where chi = blood
Well ki will probably have more space dedicated to it than any other.
Its not an easy one to master.

It's a damn poor mind that can only think of one way to spell a word.
