FLASH

Im currently using Flash 4 and i am stuck on how you get objects/whole Scene
to fad out at the end of a scene....?
please if any one could help me it would be great

This is relatively easy using the color effect option. You can make symbols
disappear using the Alpha effect and motion tweening.

To fad an entire movie out to the background color create a rectangle of the
same colour as your background, which is the same size as your movie and
therfore covers it up in a new layer and in a keyframe (press F6) you want
the fad to start from.

select your rectangle and Press F8 to make it into a symbol then go to color
effect in properties and apply 100% alpha.

All you need do then is allow some frames for the fad down to take effect
and add another key frame.

Again select your rectangle in the second keyframe and apply 0% alpha to it
in color effects so it is now opaque. You will then need to click on one of
the frames between the first and second of the keyframes and go to
properties and apply frame tweening (motion).

This should do the trick, all you need to do then is add a few frames at the
end of your movie so that the screen will be blank for a few seconds.
