Totoro! =)
Totoro is a japanese animation character.
It is a ghost, it is invisible to adults. Only can be seen by kids! =)

Well, there someone already posted the answer to this but I would like to add 
some more

Since your E-mail address ends with "EDU", I assume you are in America. Now 
English version of Totoro is available at movie stores.  The title is
My neighbour TOTORO.  You also will be able to enjoy seeing country side of
Japan.  The story is very Japanese.

Totoro is a Japanese cartoon character, that is sort of a fuzzy, flying,
giant gopher with a sly grin and a loud roar, and a benign character.  He
seems to represent a sort of "Spirit of the Forest".  The movie-length
cartoon is a fairly recent work.  My six-year-old daughter watches it over
and over.  It's a good message and a decent cultural experience for young
kids.  Adults are entertained by the incredibly beautiful animation and the
strange beauty of the story.  If you are cynical, be forewarned...Totoro is
a little like Barney with an attitude.
