A .sig-sized wolf? Certainly not an easy task, if one wants to stick to
the 4-line limit. (I think Joan's was 5 lines without background?)

Well, that's about as good as I can do in just a little over 3 lines.
If not obviously a wolf, I'd say it's recognizable as some species of
canidae. At least with an explanatory text.. (or maybe some howling?)

(I'll have to diddle that later. I already made a cat and a terrier
from the same frame while tuning this one. I'd say there's potential
for even more!)
