The WWW site for our Demographic Research Laboratory here at Western
Washington University is currently limited to text only (lynx)
preparation. Until ethernet arrives, that means we're limited to ASCII
art graphic presentations. Here are some that I have put in so far.
Some parts which may not make much sense are actually pointers to other web
sites. To see how they work you'd have to access our site. At your
prompt, type
lynx http://www.wwu.edu/~stephan
In this first one -- "where we are" -- many of the words are actually
clickable pointers to other websites and information sources.

Here are Washington's counties. Actually, each of these contains a
clickable pointer (not visible here):

This chart is designed to suggest the growth in the World's population.
"the data" in the lower right corner takes you to the actual data used to
generate the chart (so you make a neater, non-ascii one on your spreadsheet).

This one shows the number of babies born each year in the United States,
from 1910 through 1990. Again, "the data" is a pointer to actual numbers
for spreadsheet manipulation.
