ANNOUNCE: Scarecrow's ASCII Art Gopher

The Scarecrow ASCII art FTP site has come to Gopher. At the present, it is simply accessing the FTP folder. As time goes on I will give it an opening message, and more Gopher-like file and folder names, and links to other ASCII art Gopher sites. If you have hesitated to use the FTP site because you don't like the commands, and don't have a Web browser at your site, the Scarecrow's ASCII Art Gopher is just what you've been looking for. To access Scarecrow's ASCII Art Gopher, at the propmt, just type: gopher gopher.wwa.com You will go to the WorldWide Access gopher. Menu item number 3 is my ASCII art site, so just go down to 3 with your down arrow, and then enter it by pressing the right arrow. Rememeber, you can always go back out the way you came in by pressing the left arrow. Note: Some files are compressed and encoded. These are usually large files of over 300 K or so. These files need to be downloaded, decoded and decompressed. Some other files like animations and color images, contain control codes. These need to be downloaded and "cat'd" or "type'd" to be viewed on most systems.
