Instructions for use:
Subgenii: paste Bobs on the sides of all planes, an attack alt.pink-boys
Holocaust revisionists: paste SS-style swastikas and attack alt.conspiracy
Hopi-symps: past ZZ-style swastikas and attack the Nazis
Pixutil-ers: convert to postscript, then to gifs, then to ascii
ANSI animators: stage dogfights, strip the escape-codes, and post here
Surrealists: dip in chocolate and serve on furlined platter

This collection was begun by Paul Tomblin (formerly p...@geovision.gvc.com,
now ab4...@freenet.carleton.ca). More airplanes were added by Dan Grunloh
(gru...@vmd.cso.uiuc.edu) from users throughout the Usenet newsgroups.
Russ Pagenkopf contributed his merged list (which was based on my original
list), and that has been merged in.
Further modifications by Paul Tomblin and Dan Grunloh are ongoing.
If you have airplanes not included, or if you are the original author
of one of these designs, please let us know. Sorry about errors and
ommissions, we do the best we can.

NOTES: 1) In a few rare cases, an airplane was modified by replacing an
extended ascii character with a similar standard character to
ensure 100% compatability with all systems.
2) Names given for source or author are solely for reference
purposes. Not responsible for disputes about origin.
3) Earlier postings of the collection by Dan Grunloh included
badly mangled airplanes from the original collection by Paul
Tomblin. A defective transfer from a gopher server removed many
pipe "|" characters (and others). Somehow I didn't notice all
those missing tailfins! They have been fixed. My deepest
apologies to the authors for propogating the defective designs.
