I used Jave beta 1 for the conversion and figlet.

little text.
Once I figure out the jmov format i'm going to make a movie zooming in on me.

Great idea, but I think you will not be successful unless you write a new movie editor of your own :( Jave is not yet able to creat such kind of movies. At the moment you can only save a Jave Movie showing how you have edited an ascii image step by step. There is no way to work with single frames of the movie. I have created the mandelbrot movie by writing additional code... I am thinking about adding a movie editor interface to Jave - but it will take some time. Markus

Preview animation in JAVE, it isnt that hard to set up a new HTML page as it is now, but it would be nice to click on "preview" and see it play back while you are making it. [...] You are right, I have thought about that some time ago. But now I have worked out a way to integrate a nice movie editor into Jave that should satisfy (almost) everybody. I will be working on it during the next few days an it will be integrated in the next release (maybe next week? - don't know). For a quick preview have a look at: http://www.jave.de/preview/movie_editor.gif (11kB) I have integrated the Jave Player w/o modification - so it will always look like in the open source project.
