People have been asking me how do they cross-post to rec.arts.ascii,
so that everybody can see the art (or request or talk).

It really easy. When you are in your newsreader, and you're writing
your post, you'll notice the header has a 'newsgroups:' line. For
example, here in alt.ascii-art, it says:

Newsgroups: alt.ascii-art

All you have to do is change it to read:

Newsgroups: alt.ascii-art,rec.arts.ascii

Just like that. That's it. And as has been mentioned, cross-posting
is not a waste of bandwidth. The post is recorded only once on each
site, and you see each article only once, no matter how many groups it
was cross-posted to. Cross-posting was created to do just that.
