There certainly is! Its' called "Agent" - I'm using it now. With it you can set
internal filters to watch all sorts of e-mail or newsgroup parameters.

I like it for a lot of reasons:

1. All e-mail and newsgroup reading and composing can be done off-line.

2. Rather than wasting time downloading ALL newsgroup messages, I can DL just  
   the headers (titles) and select the ones I want to read.

3. The filters I mentioned can be set many ways; by authors, titles, and  
   content.

They also have "Free Agent" which can be downloaded, but I strongly recommend
the paid version as it can do considerably more.

Thanks!  Hmm, that's strange, I will check that email address.  I must
have made a typo, because honestly, I meant it to be mine.  Thanks for

Well, I checked --- my email address is correct.  I wonder what
happened???  Well, I looked at Agent, but I think now that I know how to
block messages with Netscape I will keep it.  Netscape's Newsgroup
viewer isn't the best, but it works.  I am not worried about download
time or reading off-line because I have cable internet (usually fast,
not always) and I am online all the time.  Thanks for the help though. 
I appreciate it.  The funny thing about it, the very poster I intended
to block, told me how to block messages in Netscape.  Well I think I am
supposed to post some obascii about now, so here goes:
