REQ: Can't get this Reaper down!

Try as I might, I cannot manage to get this Grim Reaper down. I had a
good start, it looked good for awhile, but when I started "coloring"
it, it went KERPUT. Plz help! Any info on what to do to give it a 3d
effect? Heres what I wound up with:.

I didn't mean to double space it.
I used the Lines and Circles from the FAQ, and still, try as I may cannot seem
to get a good outline. The original outline was awesome, but I didnt save and
it was ICKY. So now, I will get offa work, go home, and do some more. Mebbe
tomarrow, I will have some good ones. (Thinking about doing a 4WD Chevy Z71
LWB EC. )
This is really fun to do and even MORE fun to watch. You folks do awesome
work... One day I will be up to your calliber!

But from what I see, I'm gonna be awhile learning to get down this
"anti-aliasing" thing. You people are amazing! I have sat around for about 5
hours last night trying to do a truck and got nowhere, but I wound up with a
nice stereo system! :-) Yes, it is extremely addicting, my wife is now doing
it!
