Dear Bob Slater,
as pictures you post here require external program
to be read, I consider them binaries. ;-)

Ascii-art means monospaced font and the effect
very similar to original on any display capable
of showing monospaced font. It is not
use-this-prog-with-this-OS-and-this-font stuff.

brojek.

It's definitely not a binary, brojek. Personally I didn't find it all
that unreadable - just a little rough, maybe. As for using notepad -
that default font there is ALSO monospaced (fixedsys). Mr Slater may
just prefer the look of that font.

right.

as you can se, I wasn't defining ASCII, but ascii-art.
these are two different things.

No point discussing it further,

brojek.

As with all and every ascii group on the entire news groups collection
they require Notepad and nothing more.

Because you do not know how to paste and copy my unfortuante sad

asked for help and advice on this issue instead of jumping to be a
critic.

ASCII = An acronym for american standard code for information

Your define ascii as

It appears you can't even get that right.

I made smaller ascii art way back when and it's currently found amid
the vast collections on many irc chat programs.

You should always look before you jump.

I checked the pics on here out they do in fact copy and paste into
Notepad as stated 100% with no problem nor effort.

I don't have "Notepad". I see the pictures just fine, right here in my
news reader.

1. Who are you talking to? brojek? He knows this ascii art stuff.
2. Why would anybody have to copy and paste anything anywhere?

The picture looked like crap! He told you so. Live with it.

He did not "define ascii". He explained what ascii ART is about.

But you are not a very well-known face around here, yet. brojek is. He
knows this stuff. You give every evidence of not knowing anything.

The FAQ can be found here:

I suggest you read it.

Why do you think you need to copy and paste stuff to see it? (clue: read
the FAQ!)

The picture can be any form of ascii that suits the artists
imagination.

>He did not "define ascii". He explained what ascii ART is about.

ascii art started way way back, undoubtably long before your time on
the internet. It started being used on irc chat, and even before that
to convert photographs to dot matrix format.

>But you are not a very well-known face around here, yet. brojek is. He
>knows this stuff. You give every evidence of not knowing anything.

I have been on the internet for 14 years young girl and am more well
known under my irc pseudonym's than you can care to imagine.

>> You should always look before you jump.

>I suggest you read it.

Why because you want to butt in and add your say. I will read what I
want not what you say I should. The news groups here through out the
internet are full of little know it all's like you. And have been for
years.
