REQUEST: the Shmoo

Okay guys... anybody here remember the old Hanna Barbera cartoons circa 1980 or thereabouts--? There was this little white ghosty thingy called "The Shmoo." Well, I'd really like a picture of him to surprise my friends. Even if you can't draw him, I'd feel better if someone here at least told me they know what I'm talking about so i don't feel totally crazy! Thanks! I can't draw at all (my .sig pix is "borrowed), but I do remember the
critter you describe, only I recall it as being a part of Al Capp's "L'il
Abner" cartoon. I believe there were whole bunches of them, friendly,
agreeable little guys who would happily accommodate you if you were hungry
by giving milk, laying eggs, or sacrificing themselves and tasting like any
meat you liked.
I've seen bowling pins pictured here. Maybe you could play around with
altering one of them?
