Cool - my fiancee gets this stuff on his amiga bulletin board every 
day. Nice to see someone else is stillm doing it - is it still
considered "high" ascii-art? :-)

Pleeeeeaaaaaase tell me this is a joke and Microsoft programmes don't really
add that to the end of mails and posts?! Otherwise I think I really will have
to scrap that idea I had of finally getting myself a PC!

Speaking of Amiga, has anyone seen the "World of ASCII" Amiga demo?
I don't use the Amiga much any more, but I ran it just a little while ago.
Instead of bitmapped pictures and 3D effects, it's ASCII (and ANSI)
pictures and 3D effects.  One is like the following:

        OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
        OO        *     OO  Imagine that the stars are moving right to
        O O *          O O  left, and the entire cube is rotating in
        O  O        * O  O  3 dimensions.
        O   OOOOOOOOOO   O
        O   O      * O   O

Why? If you get yourself a PC you might as well install a real operating system
like Linux :) Or, if you really want to use DOS 7.0 with the new X-like GUI
(also known als Win95) or Micro$oft's  Nice Try nobody will force you to use the
other trash from M$. There are programs like StarOffice, Netscape, etc.... While
those programs nearly never crash on other OSs, on Windows they have at least
less crashes than M$. And if you use them you have to reconfigure them. If you
use the standard configuration you get effects like the above.

If it did, I think that Microsoft would put 'sent' instead of 'send'
